Quick Vitamin Post

This week has been pretty hectic but I thought I’d make a short post about what vitamins I take daily. I take a multivitamin, 2 flax seed oil, one calcium/ iron (basically stuff I don’t get much of because I don’t eat dairy), and a vitamin b6/ b12/ folic acid. All the vitamins I take are geared for vegans so I make sure I receive all my daily nutrients. What vitamins or supplements do you take?

As I said earlier this week has been very crazy so when I got off work today I went to the gym and sweated our my frustrations. Now I feel calm and ready for a relaxing weekend 🙂 I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

    Because of the cancer medications I take a high dose multivitamin with iron (materna – ha ha , not prego though!) Omega 3 oils, vitamin e and because its winter allot of echinacea. I’m not a vegan or a vegetarian, but vitamins have a place in every diet.

    Being an “old timer”, I need all the help I can get!
    When I feel a sickness coming on, Echinacea.
    For strength training, BSN NoExplode.
    For weight training and running, BSN Nitrix.
    For my achy joints, I used to take Trigosamine, but switched to what my knee/elbow/shoulder doctor recommended, Orthodoc Labs Joint support.

    No vitamins. Since I have Celiac, I stick to primarily a modified Atkins diet. Except for long running days, then I switch to a high carb meal the night before the race.

  3. Nice! I take a plant-based iron supplement (“Blood Builder”), a liquid vitamin D, a multi that consists of A, C, E, and selenium, liquid EFA oil, zinc, and sometimes I take extra vitamin C, and I have this fantastic magnesium supplement that also have some other great stuff in it (Magsmart)

  4. I take a multi-vitamin, calcium with D, omega-3 fish oil pills, L-Glutamine before lifting and BCAA after and Casein protein before bed. But then again, I’m a bodybuilder and in the bulking phase.
